Tigertooth croaker

This fish belongs to the Sciaenidae family in the countries of the Persian Gulf, which is known as shourideh fish and plays an important role in the multi-species commercial fishing of this region. It also accounts for 10-12% of the demersal catch of India, which is known as edible marine fish in the east and west coasts throughout the year. This species is carnivorous and its diet includes a wide variety of animals such as small fishes, crustaceans, molluscs and carnivores.
